In 2021, we sold our houses and cars and shrunk our lives to fit in a custom-built Sprinter van. That May, we hit the road and spent six months traveling the country to ride and race our mountain bikes. After getting a taste of the trails in Missouri, Tennessee, North Carolina, Colorado, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Utah and California, we drove to Florida where we bought a sailboat. Eventually, we plan to see the world, but first we have to fix the thing and learn to sail it.

Dan’s cat. Pepe showed up on his doorstep skunk-sprayed and freezing. So of course he moved right in. The two have a lot in common, as both of them came to Northwest Arkansas by way of Austin.
